My son worked with Deana on a time-based essay. In one one-hour lesson, my son took away how to structure his essay, how he can manage his time when writing the essay, and how he can plan his idea and thesis statement that would be connected when developing his story.

Deana has been teaching my 8 year old son writing twice a week for the past 5 months. While writing is not my son’s favorite subject, Deana has found innovative ways to keep my son interested, engaged and learning. She developed a curriculum for him, and has done a good job teaching the basics of grammar, sentence structure, and spelling in addition to various forms of writing, including short stories, poetry and opinion pieces. My son has made significant progress with Deana and I highly recommend her.

Deana was wonderful with my daughter, who has some mild special needs. Deana showed up to our online lesson on time, and with a plan! I love that she took the time to chat with my daughter and get to know her first.
