Greetings,

According to the standards set forth in the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, the State of Michigan has declared that I am highly qualified to teach all subjects in grades K-5 (K-8 Self Contained), as well as middle school mathematics ("EX" endorsement).

Prior to attending Eastern Michigan University where I received a B.S. in education (4/10), I enjoyed a lengthy and successful career as a realtor in Wayne, Oakland and Livingston counties. I've been an active guest teacher in many communities while seeking a full-time position in a public school setting.

I firmly believe that all students can succeed in all subjects provided they have adequate support. It would be my pleasure to work with you and your child to increase their achievement in prealgebra, algebra I/II, geometry, organization/study skills and test preparation. Please note that I possess considerable experience teaching/tutoring students in each of these areas.

After our initial meeting, I will formulate a detailed plan tailored to the unique needs of your child in order to ensure their success. The benefits of this process include, yet are not limited to, reduced anxiety, greater confidence, higher self-esteem and ultimately increased achievement.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Best regards,

Mark F.
