American History

As the author of numerous published columns on American history and politics, and as a radio talk show host who discusses issues daily with a reliance on my knowledge of American history acquired from decades of reading and study, I am an experienced American History tutor.

European History

I'm the author of "The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism" published by WND Books. This book delves into European history during WWII among other topics. I've written many papers and published articles pertaining to various aspects and time periods of European history.

Music History

I am a lifelong afficiando of many genres of popular music, including rock, blues, jazz, pop, and Broadway. I am a guitarist who has been in bands and has taught guitar and, as a radio talk show host, I host a musician every Friday on my nationally syndicated talk show. As a published historian and the author of many books, I know how to research topics that interest me and could help students to the same.

Special Needs

As a guitar teacher, I had several students who were special needs including one student who was mentally retarded. In high school, I participated in a program that helped fellow students with muscular dystrophy and cerebral palsy to learn to swim.

Religion

As the co-host of the talk radio program "The Fairness Doctrine" I have conducted a regular Tuesday segment devoted to issues pertaining to religion and how religion intersects with politics. During that segment, over the past several years, I have interviewed clerics, theologians, and religion professors and writers from all religions and from all points of view.

Public Speaking

I engage in public speaking every weekday as the co-host of a nationally syndicated radio talk show. As a candidate for Congress in Massachusetts, I delivered several speeches to audiences and I debated my opponent, Rep. Barney Frank, on television and in several live debate settings. I wrote my own speeches and studies techniques associated with delivery.
