If you need someone that can explain clearly Corporate Finance, then Jeff is the person. He helped me understand concepts that otherwise would have been impossible to master. He is kind and very reliable, a great guy, and very patient as he helps you understand what it is all about. I give him 5 stars.
I began my 6 week Finance Class with high hopes and quickly realized that I needed help. EXPERT help! I found Jeff on WyzAnt and took note of his excellent rating. Remarkably, he was located near my neighborhood, and he made time within his schedule to meet me at a local coffee shop.
I found Jeff to be professional, prompt, and easy going. He is very patient and can he can take complex ideas and make them easy to understand. My anxiety about learning decreased significantly, and I started to enjoy learning about Finance.
I worked with Jeff for four weeks straight at 2 hour intervals. With his tutoring, I made an 89.5 on my final exam with my final grade submitted as an A. This would not have been possible without Jeff - no way.
I worked with Jeff for Finance at the MBA level - a subject I do not understand! Jeff was able to help me work through cases and explain concepts in a way that made sense. He's easy to work with and is flexible.
Jeff is an amazing tutor!! Very smart, reliable, super nice and patient. He found different ways to break down information and gave me different examples to help me understand the material. If you are struggling with any Finance, class he can help!! He helped me understand stuff I would not had been able to without his help!
Jeff was a big bright spot in my dark tunnel journey to studying for the GMAT. His helpful tips and guidance has given me the confidence to continue my studies after I was almost about to give up. Very satisfied with Jeff's help and will continue to use him until I take the test in January.
Jeff is a pleasure to be around and always well prepared. His greatest attribute is his ability to see my weaknesses when attacking problems and offer more successful strategies. He is a natural teacher. Based on my experience with Jeff I will be recommending WyzAnt to my fellow students.
Jeff is a great tutor who helped me tremendously with data sufficiency and the quantitative section on the GMAT. Jeff worked with me in understanding data sufficiency and developing a strategy for approaching data sufficiency problems. He also assisted me in understanding geometry problems more clearly, and how to recognize patterns in the shapes and problems that often appear on the GMAT. Jeff is a great tutor and I highly recommend him to anyone considering enlisting the services of a tutor in preparing for the GMAT.
I am a senior at Kennesaw State and needed help with a finance class before the final. Jeff was able to meet me 2 days later and after a total of two sessions, 2.5 hours I was more than confident for my exam. I of course studied a lot on my own as well but Jeff's ADVANCED knowledge on the subject made it extremely easy to learn. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone for anything he tutors. You pay for what you get and to be honest after the amount he taught in in 2.5 hours, I would have paid double what I was charged. Very professional, on time, extremely smart and a nice guy, highly recommend.
Jeff has a very good teaching style. He is attentive to how you solve problems and notices immediately when you hit a trouble spot.
I know I myself am an impatient person and it was very refreshing working with Jeff. He knows how to redirect you from any mental blocks you may run into.
I have to say, in spite of me having to drive 1 hour from my area to get to the tutorial, he is the person that you can count on for proper 5 star tutoring.
Jeff is very patient and knowledgeable. I am very grateful for his help and would not be as far along in my studies without his aid.
I am an adult learner who was returning to the world of math. Let me tell you what, it was very daunting since math had never been a subject I really enjoyed I was literally in a panic after my first class! But after my first tutoring session with Jeff I knew I was going to succeed. Jeff is incredibly patient, he was able to hone in on my learning style, and took the time to really help connect concepts together for me. Without him I do not think I would've been able to achieve my goals in my math courses so easily. I have been tutored by him for a summer semester in Algebra, and fall semester in precalculus both of which I got an A in. I have learned to really enjoy math and have even come to realize IT'S FUN!! I highly recommend Jeff for a tutor, you will thank yourself for it!!
Jeff is an excellent tutor and has been working with my kids 3 days a week for about a year. He is always on time and comes prepared. We have used several tutors in the past and he is head and shoulders above the others. He not only tutors my children but teaches them math and science as my kids are homeschooled. Both my children really enjoy him and think he is very nice. My son says he is extremely smart..."that he could teach math to the math teachers!!" Anyway, he is highly educated and probably overqualified for tutoring my young teens, however we are thankful we found him! He has helped tremendously and explains things in an interesting way, and on the student's level (which believe me is sometimes difficult to find in a tutor.) My kids recently received great scores on their ssat's due to his prep work with them. I cannot recommend him enough!!
Jeff is seriously the best tutor I have ever had. He listens. He cares. He truly wants to see me succeed. He knows his stuff and he patiently walks me through any question I have.
Jeff has allowed my son to get over his hurdles in his Algebra class and now logarithms and graphs make sense. Jeff's patience and explanations have already made a difference in 3 sessions. He makes math and tutoring stress free and enjoyable.
Great help still learning and Jeff is very patient and good at instructing through the process. Jeff is able to assist you through the most basic to the most difficult of equations.
I was in panic mode when I contacted Jeff. He immediately responded to my email and was able to meet with me before the end of the week. He was very patient and did a great job helping me understand "Business Analysis."
We brought in Jeff because my son needed help in AP statistics. In six weeks, Jeff's involvement has produced nothing less than an A- on any tests or assignments. Jeff seems to have an innate ability to quickly identify and clarify principles which were "somewhat but not completely" understood. He is a skilled communicator, responsive, easy to schedule and entirely reasonable in his rates. All in all, a real professional who gets results.
I contacted Jeff on a Thursday and we were able to meet on Friday. Our session was very productive as he was able to assist me in understanding the concepts of the Statistics assignment that I was working on. We talked through the problems, concentrating more on the steps required to complete the problems and the reasons those steps were necessary. I was able to go home and do the problems on my own and explain some of them to my classmates. I earned a 96% on the assignment!
Jeff is great. He knows his stuff, he's punctual, he's patient, and he's a lot of help for anyone having trouble with statistics, economics, or finance.
Jeff is an Amazing Tutor! He's very patient and explains complicated concepts, in a way that makes them so simple. On my exam prior to Jeff and I beginning our sessions I'd received a 31%. After 4 sessions with Jeff, I am elated to report that I received a 96% on my next exam! He's awesome! And if you want to succeed in your mathematics course he's the tutor to use.
Like many, we decided we needed a tutor when the tears were flowing for my daughter. Jeff came in, and in 1 1/2 hours, gave her enough confidence that she was all smiles. We will continue with lessons to keep the smiles coming.
My friend and I had a tutoring session with Jeff on Friday. Jeff was very very nice and tried to help as much as possible but we weren't able to finish the problems. International Trade and International Economics is a very hard subject and Jeff tried his best to help us, but in the end we were not able to get it done.
Jeff is a great tutor. He is on time, prepared and easily understands where I need help. he is calm and reassuring, and then delivers the information in a simple, easy to understand method. I appreciate him so much, and will use him again in the future as needed. I would highly recommend him not only for tutoring but any teaching or professional position which he would pursue!
Working with Jeff has been one of the best professional investments I have ever made. I had just left an industry for which I had been a part of for nearly ten years and entered a new industry where an understanding of finance would be required. This meant going back to school to get a MBA. There was only problem, I did not have a business or finance background.
I interviewed multiple candidates. Jeff was just what I needed for the transition. He's one part professor, one part coach/mentor and one part cheerleader. Jeff is extremely patient, always on time and very responsive. Jeff was constantly building up my confidence, but was careful to always shoot straight with me on my knowledge level. Once we came up with a game plan for how we would attack my finance semester's curriculum, we quickly settled into a routine and worked through the lessons like clockwork, all the way through the final. I made an A in the course!
Jeff's grasp of all things economics also paid huge dividends for me. It is hard to have a financial discussion without understanding the economic relationships at hand. His depth and breadth of knowledge in both subject areas really helped me grasp the concepts at hand at a faster pace than I would have otherwise.
Jeff is fantastic! I am and continue to be extremely satisfied with my choice to work with him. 5 stars all the way!
Jeff, has a broad subject matter knowledge base from which he draws from. He is very adapt at figuring out where a professor is trying to go with a problem or subject matter. Jeff is flexible and easy to schedule sessions with.
Our college age son has many holes in the math classes he attended while in high school and as a college junior, he faced College Calculus with the work effort, but not the skills to tackle. While pride and determination goes a long way, we needed someone like Jeff to help our son overcome the basic calculus principles never learned as well as showing him the various ways to tackle a calculus problem. Jeff was patient, persistent and always respectful of our son and his efforts to do well in this class, even when he could hardly understand the foreign professor. We will be using Jeff next semester for calculus, and even asking Jeff to brush up on some Physics for fall semester. Our son and Jeff were team mates and while we have used more "professorial" Wyz Ant tutors in the past, we found a kindred sole in Jeff for our son. He will be our honored guest when our son graduates from Southern Polytechnic and State University!
Was great to work with. He is super chill and made me feel comfortable working with him. He taught me exactly what I needed to make our business more organized.
Jeff is an outstanding tutor that is an expert in math. I used Jeff for help with a graduate level statistics course and he was a lifesaver. He is extremely knowledgeable in statistics and helped me understand very difficult concepts and equations. Jeff was very accessible and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing help in math and statistics.
Jeff is an excellent tutor. He has been a great in helping me prepare for the ACT test. I would highly recommend him.
Jeff is a great tutor. He is very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I received my first A in an college level math class. I have already recommended him to personal friends for tutoring, and I recommend him to anybody looking for a tutor.
Jeff has been a great in helping me prepare for the math part of the GMAT. He is very knowledgeable on the test format, question types and methods to solve problems more efficiently and accurately. I would highly reccomend him.
Six lessons, worth every dollar! Jeff is his profile “friendly, calm individual who is good at observing what it is you're struggling with.” Great job.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
