The best teacher I have ever had!

I have had Josh as a private teacher, as well as in a classroom, for almost eight years now, and he has been an astounding, breathtaking and unparalleled teacher and mentor, without a doubt the best I've ever had! He has taught me creative writing and literature, and his advice as well as subject matter has never gotten stale or repetitive, as he always finds new, inspiring angles from which to discuss and analyze writing, as well as the ways I could improve. His gigantic talent in acting would add so much to the experience, as he would apply his skills to reading literature, especially Shakespeare, so it would feel like a private stage performance, with everything coming alive and him as the solo performer. Learning from him is a true privilege! But not only is Josh hugely talented, educated and knowledgeable about what he talks about, he is also tactful and inspiring to each of his students individually having a unique approach to everyone depending on who they are and their level. Each class with Josh is something to look forward to, a joyful treat full of wisdom and unforgettable advice!

From an F to an A

My son was really struggling in English. So much, we were already planning on retaking the class in the summer. After just a few lessons, Josh had my son feeling so much more confident in writing and learning the material. Now he’s on track to pass the class with an A!

Such an amazing tutor!

My daughter has been working with Josh on a research paper for her college Freshman English class. She has some learning challenges including dyslexia, and Josh has been wonderful at breaking her project into smaller pieces and working with her on it. She has tried many tutors that have not clicked, and I am so happy we found Josh as she enjoys working with him. I highly recommend Josh and I am so grateful we found him.

Worth every penny

Josh is an extremely gifted and caring tutor. He is able to convey his genuine desire to help even though it is all taking place via Zoom. From the very moment my son’s session began, you could feel his authenticity and eagerness to help my son refine his public speaking skills. Josh took age into consideration when providing my son with concise, simple suggestions that were realistic and relatable for my son. In just one session Josh was able to impart skills my 12 year old son will benefit from for the rest of his life. Thank you again Josh for sharing your many talents and skills with the rest of us.
