Informative and personable tutor

I liked that Susan spent time getting to know me as a student before we began writing so we could focus on my specific needs. I could easily engage in conversations with her and she made learning fun.

Finally a tutor who can motivate my son!

Another super productive tutoring session with Susan!! Under Susan’s tutelage, my son was able to understand the concepts, including symbolism and allegory, in a very difficult text. She helped him organize his thoughts and write coherent responses. I am so pleased with the progress my son is making with Susan’s help. Looking forward to additional tutoring from Susan!!!

Amazing tutor-Knowledgeable and patient

My high school Sophomore son was struggling with distance learning and had a hard time keeping up with his honors English course. Susan worked with him to organize his workload and with patient encouragement helped him understand and complete his writing assignments. She is an excellent instructor in both literature and writing. We look forward to Susan tutoring our son in English throughout this semester. She is a Godsend during this long period of school closures.

Supportive, kind and patient writing tutor

I feel so lucky to have found Susan. Working with my 8-year-old son who has been resistant to writing, Susan is encouraging, supportive, and caring. It is evidenct that she genuinely loves teaching the joy of writing. Susan has provided a trusting and safe forum for my son to find his writing voice about topics of interest. Susan's patient and caring approach couldn't be a better fit for my son, and after just a few months I've seen his confidence as a writer grow.
