C

I tutor basic C programming. I learned C programming at UCSD taking MAE9 which is C programming for scientists and engineers. I also used C programming to process data during a 6 month theoretical astrophysics research project. I have ready-to-go C programming problem sets for students to work through to learn the basics of C.

I have experience using linear algebra to solve problems as small as simple sets of equations and as complex as problems in undergraduate quantum mechanics at UCSD. If you have a question about linear algebra, I am positive I can show you how to solve it.

Linux

I have been using Linux for about three years as the default operating system on a dual boot computer. I have experience with a handful of flavors including ubuntu, mandriva, and debian. I am familiar with common operations and advanced system settings. I am also familiar with many command line functions as well as how to manually install programs that are not prepackaged .rpm or .deb files.

Microsoft Windows

I have been using Windows since Windows 95. I currently use Windows XP on a dual boot computer next to Linux. I am familiar with everything from installation of Windows to everyday operations, as well as more advanced tasks such as editing the registry.
