Gerard has many great qualities as a tutor. His tutoring contributed to my son's significant improvement in precalculus. Prior to tutoring sessions with Gerard, my son did not grasp the basic concepts of precalculus, and his grade had declined. Once Gerard started working with my son, precalculus became more clear and comprehensible to him for the first time. I remember my son expressing his excitement at his own success by saying, "I actually understand precalculus now!" In addition to being extremely patient, kind and professional, Gerard's teaching techniques simplify complicated mathematical concepts in a manner that's easy for a struggling student to understand. With Gerard's assistance, my son raised his grade by almost two letter grades. Gerard was instrumental in my son's success in understanding precalculus and ultimately raising his grade, and for that, I am very grateful to Gerard. I also appreciated Gerard's flexibility; he always tried to accommodate our requests for extra tutoring sessions even upon short notice. Great Tutor!

Gerard is a great tutor! He takes you step by step on problems that you are having trouble completing, while going back and bridging gaps from prior math lessons. He allows you to try and solve the problems before he goes in correcting mistakes, and when there are errors in your answer he walks through them with you to see were something went wrong.
