I am looking for a tutor for my daughter. She will be a college sophomore, transferring to UT Austin. She struggles with math and has been diagnosed with Dyscalculia in high school. She did not make the minimum score for SAT math section and therefore has to take the TSIA2 test for placement.

My daughter is thinking of a joint masters PhD program in sociology because she did not major in psychology. It’s a little harder to do Grad school in psychology. She majored in English and human rights at SMU so I am looking for a tutor that can encourage her to continue forth and sort of guide her through the process with applying to maybe you know seven different schools.

I'm currently preparing to take the DAT again on August 21, and this will be my 4th attempt, and I can say I learned something new each time taken.
The area where I need the most improvement is Quantitative Reasoning. I'm really struggling with understanding how to approach many of the problems. I often freeze when I see certain question types, overcomplicate the setup, and lose a lot of time trying to figure out the next step. I've been studying on my own for quite a while, but I still feel like I'm not thinking through the problems the right way.

I'm looking for an SAT tutor for my daughter, a rising high school junior. She is aiming for 1450+, ideally 700+ Math, for Georgia Tech and similar engineering programs. Math is the priority.
She plans to retake the test in October 2026, so we have the summer and early fall to prepare.
Before we set up a call, I'd love to know:
• Your experience getting students from the 1300s to 1450+, especially on Math
• Whether you tutor the current Digital SAT (Bluebook / adaptive format)
• Your general availability
• How you'd approach a plan for a student like her

I have a question about my upcoming ACCUPLACER test on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Will the test include multiple-choice questions only, or will there also be questions where I need to write explanations or complete written responses? Could you also let me know what subjects will be covered and if there are any study materials or practice questions you recommend? I want to be as prepared as possible for the test on Wednesday.
