I’m looking for a math mentor for my son, who is in 4th grade but working at a much higher level. He’s currently in a competitive math program through Johns Hopkins CTY and loves problem-solving — especially when it’s fun, challenging, and exploratory.
He’s strong in math but is still building his stamina and confidence with harder problems. We’re hoping to find someone who can coach him through thinking deeply (not just getting answers), and help him enjoy the process of math as a creative and logical language.

I'm a 3rd year psychology major in a psychological statistics class. It's called psych research methods part 2. I'm struggling with the foundations of R and psychological statistics, but as of right now just focused on psychological statistics. This involves topics such as(t-tests, one-sample t-tests, independent sample t-tests, dependent sample t-test, z-scores, p-values, f-values, ANOVA, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, linear regression, correlation coefficient, APA write up, HOC test, Turkey HSD).

I’m planning to take the MCAT around next spring or summer. I’ve taken the exam before. After taking about a year off from studying, I’m ready to start the MCAT preparation process again.
In the past, I tried self-studying, but it didn’t seem to work well for me. I’m currently working full-time as a medical scribe and trying to find a better work–life balance. One of my biggest challenges has been content retention—I struggle with active recall and often feel like I’m not truly mastering the material.
I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and I believe what I need most now is structure, accountability, and stronger testing strategies. My goal is to take the MCAT in March or April of 2026 and earn a score above 500.
