Hi, I’m Keerthana! I’m a senior at The Pennsylvania State University majoring in Electrical Engineering, with a strong academic foundation in math, reading, and writing. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a deep appreciation not just for these subjects, but also for the importance of making learning approachable, engaging, and meaningful.
I have several years of tutoring experience, working primarily with K–12 students from a wide range of backgrounds. I’ve tutored both virtually and in person, supporting students in subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra, precalculus, and calculus, as well as reading comprehension and writing. My teaching approach is adaptive and student-centered—I take time to understand each student’s learning style and tailor lessons to fit their needs. Whether it’s breaking a concept down step by step, using real-life examples, or building confidence through positive reinforcement, I aim to make learning less intimidating and more empowering.
Much of my tutoring has been one-on-one, which has allowed me to form strong, supportive relationships with students and personalize instruction to meet their individual goals. I’ve worked with elementary, middle, and high school students, helping them strengthen not just academic skills but also confidence, discipline, and problem-solving strategies. I strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and think independently.
