I currently work both as a pastor and as a professor at a local seminary/graduate school. I enjoy seeing people truly grasp a subject and understand a topic further. My topics of interest include Ancient History of the Levant (Assyria, Ugarit, Persia, Babylon, Israel), languages (Spanish, Hebrew, Greek (Koine), and English), Mathematics, creative writing, and even a little bit of science. I have taught in many of these subjects and tutored in many of them as well.

I, myself, have six children ranging in age from middle elementary to high school, giving me much opportunity to hone my tutoring skills in a wide variety of subjects. I have also tutored fellow students at several different levels from College up through Graduate school. It is always enjoyable to see struggling students master a particular subject.

I am currently in the process of writing a Doctoral Dissertation in English, so mastery of the English language is a must. I have always been very good at grammar and have had the opportunity to work as an English education conversational partner at a local university. As part of my duties as a professor I write books and articles for publishing. Perhaps most importantly, I understand that English is a difficult language for those who are learning English as a second language, so I can be quite patient and kind with a student's difficulty in grasping all of the ridiculous rules that I as a native speaker take for granted!

I am in the process of earning a degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Old Testament. I have studied many different ancient languages, especially those from the Levant, and as a pastor, am well aware of current religious trends and differences. I have a great love of philosophy and religious thought and would be thrilled to offer my experience, training, and passion for this topic with students.

Thank you so much for considering me as a tutor. I would love to work with you on whatever subject you desire as together we seek to improve grades, understand a particular t
