Hi! I’m Connor, a Spanish and English tutor with a degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Utah (3.75 GPA), where I also played Division 1 lacrosse.

My tutoring approach starts by understanding your motivations, current level, goals, and time frame. From there, I create a personalized learning plan tailored to your needs. Each session includes a review of progress and adjustments to keep you on track. I also firmly believe that learning should (and can!) be fun, so I aim to foster this environment during each and every one of my sessions.

- University of Utah: Graduated with a degree in Psychology and Spanish while balancing the demands of NCAA athletics.
- Study Abroad: Completed an immersive, 120 hour Spanish program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, including professional experience in a top-rated hospital’s Neurology department.
- Proficiency: Advanced Spanish skills honed through extensive travel across South America (Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay). Spent over 1 year living in Argentina. Currently, I also previously worked as a English-Spanish translator at KPCW for 8 months, a news station in Park City, Utah.

I also minored in Spanish, which has allowed me to learn the english language at a very high level, because you cannot learn a new language without having an advanced understanding of english.

I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in psychology and a minor in Spanish. I speak Spanish fluently and had a study abroad experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I was able to use the language on a daily basis in the real world. I also lived in Latin America for over a year (Argentina/Colombia) where I only spoke Spanish everyday. I also have over 3 years of experience tutoring Spanish at all levels from complete beginner all the way up to AP Spanish. 90% of the students I have worked with have continued working with me for more than a year, and of those students, the vast majority receive an A in their Spanish class. In addition to my academic and travel experience, I worked as a translator for my local news network, KCPW, for a little less than a year. In my personal life, I use Spanish everyday with my Venezuelan fiancee and her family.

In addition to this, I have experience writing and proofreading academic papers and journals for the lab I was a part of at the University of Utah. I love to write!

Great Spanish Tutor - thank you

Conner has been an outstanding tutor for my son over the last 6 months with Highschool Spanish. He is patient, highly knowledgeable and makes learning Spanish engaging and fun. He is obviously passionate about the Spanish language and my son is motivated to learn (previously language has been a subject he found challenging). My son connects with Conner, and I have seen a noticeable boost in both confidence and performance. Conner is not only a great tutor but a genuinely kind and dependable person.
