I encourage students to explain their thinking out loud, because teaching back is one of the best ways to deepen learning. My approach combines patience, high expectations, and engaging explanations that meet students where they are, whether they are struggling to catch up or aiming to excel.
I work with students of all backgrounds and ability levels, from those needing support in mastering foundational math skills to advanced high school students preparing for college-level science.
