I am certified by the state of Texas since the late 1990’s to teach Chemistry in secondary schools. I was previously certified to teach all science classes in secondary schools, but elected not to continue with that certification due to the cost of the required continuing education and the fact that I did not for see continuing teaching in the classroom.
I taught for 12 years in the public school system on the high school level and several years on chemistry on the community college level.
I have been tutoring full-time since 2007. I specialize in all math from elementary through college calculus, chemistry and physics on all levels from high school through freshman year in college. I also tutor introductory Spanish through high school level three.
Most of my students have been high school students. Some families have continued for many years as different children in the family progress through school.
I strive to find the key to making each student successful. The same approach does not work for all students.
