Hello, Everyone! I am Regina. I love inspiring others to become the best version of self through learning. I have been helping students from 6th – 12th grade with Mathematics in the public education system for 20+ years. I have tutored students before school, after school, and on Saturdays since September 1999 to improve their math skills. I utilize different level of questioning to guide students to understanding the math being acquired. My passion and high energy help the students to be more receptive of answering questioning without fear in conjunction with cultivating an environment that welcoming learning from mistakes. This way of delivering mathematic instruction in a classroom setting filtrated in my tutoring sessions with math manipulatives as needed.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Master of Science in Educational Leadership. I, also, have a dual Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with concentrations in Mathematics PK-14 and Early Childhood Education. I have several Texas certifications as follow: Secondary Mathematics (6-12), Special Education (EC-12), English Second Language Supplemental, Gifted and Talented Supplemental, Principal (EC-12), and Superintendent (EC-12).
