Hi, I'm Duane. I have an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science I enjoy tutoring in a wide range of subjects from Data Analytics to Literature which I love. I have a healthy mix of educational and real-world professional experience. I don't see tutoring a particular subject existing in a vacuum but as a step toward other long-term achievements whether as a future career or opening one's horizons as a lifelong learner.

DATA SCIENCE: TABLEAU, SQL, EXCEL, ACCESS
With over 20 years of professional experience, I am highly proficient in utilizing SQL within various software programs such as Tableau and Access. My expertise has allowed me to provide courses on SQL, with a particular focus on tutoring individuals in Tableau to help them complete work projects and class assignments. I have worked with individuals ranging from undergrad to doctorate students, and I understand the challenges of climbing the steep learning curve of Tableau.

Through my guidance, I have assisted individuals in organizing their data and designing impactful visualizations that deliver meaningful insights. When I was in college I worked in the Reading Writing lab. I almost completed my degree in English before I switched to Computer Science. I can also assist in proofreading and give advice on how they can improve their work for conciseness and clarity.

AMERICAN HISTORY
I have tutored high school American History for several years in my spare time because I love it. I am a lifelong learner of American and European history.
