Hello! My name is Johnathan and I’m a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Throughout my education, I’ve had the honor of having fantastic teachers that have made learning easy and exciting, and I hope to help others find the joy of learning and understanding concepts as well! I graduated at the top of my class in high school and have maintained a 3.9 GPA in college. Outside of college, I volunteer to further civic engagement on campus and work with a research group to fight climate change!
I have multiple years of experience tutoring a variety of topics as both a volunteer and for profit, ranging from AP Physics to Chemistry to Calculus to 8th grade math. Most of my tutoring has been done one on one, and I have a lot of experience tutoring online. I am always looking for new tools to help me explain topics better to students, and enjoy using drawings or memorable sayings to help remember topics wherever they are applicable!
I’ve tutored students for a variety of goals, ranging from preparing for an AP test in hopes of getting a 5 to helping struggling students in difficult classes perform better on tests or pass standardized exams. Please feel free to reach out if you would like more information or have any questions!
