Hi, I'm Kaylee! I'm a licensed, practicing civil engineer with technical expertise in water and wastewater engineering. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi. Having completed undergraduate research in multiple different areas, I completed the requirements for the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and successfully graduated with honors. I have two published research articles in prestigious scientific journals. I have recently passed the Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam (PE Exam) and am currently working on obtaining my professional engineering license. I'm also currently researching programs to obtain my Master's in Civil Engineering degree.

I have been tutoring for approximately 5 years, but I really found my passion for tutoring during the COVID-19 pandemic. The frustration with remote learning for parents and students alike drove my passion for instilling confidence in learners of all ages. I love teaching all subjects and watching my students grow into problem solvers that can embrace all kinds of challenges. I have experience with teaching children from age 2 to 20. I have taught a broad range of subjects, from the alphabet to college-level courses. While there are some subjects I have less experience teaching, I am more than capable of learning what needs to be done and preparing the necessary resources to help each student reach their true potential.

Outside of tutoring, I'm an avid sports fan, a bookworm, and a dog-lover. I enjoy being outside, reading a good book, going to the movies, and playing with my dog, Nellie. I genuinely love learning and I seek it in every aspect of my life. I can't wait to see what I can learn next in my adventure with you or your student!
