I have several years of experience tutoring a variety of subjects: namely all SAT/ACT subjects, college-level and high-school level chemistry and math, high-school and middle-school level life sciences, and more. I have experience tutoring in both 1-1 and group settings, and have tutored both for pay and as volunteer work for underprivileged students. When I took the SAT/ACT back in high school (four years ago), I received a 99th percentile score on each of them; both my subject expertise and the recency of my test-taking allow me to both provide general question help as well as effective study strategies for approaching the exam.
I focus on providing not only high-quality academic support, but also a safe environment where students can comfortably make mistakes and improve upon them. I want students to have the room to grow, ask questions, and improve both their understanding of the material and the best way to approach it.
