Hello! My name is Brooke, and I am here to help you with any and all questions related to English Language Arts. It's all about connections! I Love engaging with my students, and helping them build the connections they need to be successful when they leave my sessions. Let's connect, grow, and build upon the knowledge you already possess. From phonics, to college level essay building and revising, I've got you covered! I have eight years of experience tutoring both children, and adults in the craft of the English language. I am a certified teacher in the areas of EC-6, ESL, and Special Education, in the states of Texas and Georgia. I received my Bachelors in Education from Georgia State University, with a specialization in teaching English as a Second Language. I have worked in varying educational settings, including homeschool, public school, virtual school, and tutoring. I currently teach 6th grade English, and Special Education in Austin Texas. Though I work with children on a day-to-day basis, I have ample experience with all ages, including assisting college students in essay writing, and revising. I am currently Trained in the Reading By Design program, specialized to help students with dyslexia, and have materials needed to proceed with basic, to more advanced phonics, and word decoding.
