Hello! I am Jonathan. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a dual B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Chemical Biotechnology. In college, I realized that often times students struggled silently out of fear of reaching out to the professor. This inspired me to become a tutor for my peers for classes such as Genetics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Algebra. I learned from my favorite professors to make classes and lessons engaging and interesting, to go the extra mile for the students, and to allow them to ask questions without fear of ridicule. I always try to adapt to different learning styles and push students to understand concepts deeply so that they can apply their knowledge.
I worked as a tutor for the school for about a year, tutoring the classes mentioned above. Before this, I would often help my peers in classes like organic or analytical chemistry. I am used to working one-on-one, but I have also worked with groups of up to 10 students.
