Amazing MCAT Tutor

Hands down, Will is one of the best MCAT tutors out there!! I met Will this spring when I was preparing to study for my MCAT retake and started meeting with him regularly after I finished most of my content review and was beginning to practice AAMC materials. At every lesson, Will was great at efficiently breaking down and explaining each question that I was really stuck on until I fully understood it. It was very clear to me from the start that he has an extremely solid understanding of how to approach AAMC MCAT questions and was very good at helping me approach the exam and questions with a good mindset and proper approach/thinking process as well. I believe my time with Will really paid off--in the process of studying for this exam a second time, I have scored 520+ consistently on the majority of my AAMC FL practice exams. Will is legit an MCAT guru and an awesome human being as well. I highly recommend taking a lesson with him!!

Exceptional tutor that exceeded all our expectations with 12+ point increase!

From the very first lesson, both my brother and I knew that Will was different from the several other tutors we had previously tried! After both receiving MCAT scores of 505 and 508 (major deficiency in the CARS section) after our first try, we were looking for someone that could help push us to the next level and guide us towards essential tips and strategies that could maximize our potential. Other tutors had left us discouraged, telling us that we just "had to read more science articles," that "CARS was a skill specific to the individual and difficult to improve," or that we would have to put in “8 hours per day of studying” to get the scores we desired. However, when Will listened to our experiences and discussed our strengths and weaknesses, he immediately had a clear understanding of how we should approach our studying and what best suited our individual preferences/timeline to get us where we wanted to be around 512-514. While no one can ever guarantee positive results, the way Will walked us through CARS passages every week to teach us, not simply tell us, the best ways to approach these problems was groundbreaking in giving my brother and I the confidence to break down passages and improve our comprehension. These strategies further transferred over to all the science sections where he always addressed all our questions/concerns in detail and knew the ins and outs of every passage so that he could provide us the best possible breakdown of the graphs and information presented. All of this and more opened our eyes to so many different techniques and nuances that we had missed studying on our own! It all came full circle when we finally took practice full lengths and saw our scores average between 516 at the lowest to 522 at the highest, which is something I would have never thought was possible before meeting Will! These scores and our confidence taking these tests validated all the time Will spent teaching us how to approach the MCAT, yet even with these scores, my brother and I can appreciate most the way he always encouraged us every step of the way and made these tutor sessions such a positive and enlightening experience, leaving us with so many “Ahhh” moments when we finally saw our growth. It was worth every dollar spent and we will be definitely recommending him to others in the future!

Will is helping my son prepare for his mcat and is doing an incredible job working with him! Will is awesome! He helped me so much with my CARS by breaking it down and teaching me how to analyze/think like the AAMC. He also tutors section bank which is wonderful if you are struggling there. I was scoring 124s on CARS average on my tests. A couple of weeks after working with Will I saw a three/four-point increase in my full-length CARS sections. Will is understanding and truly cares about his tutees. He was always willing to answer questions when I messaged him and is also very knowledgeable about the admissions process. Will is by far the best MCAT tutor I've had. I'm re-taking the MCAT for the second time and he's helped me not only understand problems but has also provided me with individualized strategies, which is something that I didn't get the first time around in an MCAT classroom environment. His easygoing and encouraging persona is perfect for something that can be as stressful as the MCAT, and also helps me develop more confidence for the sections that I struggle with. His explanations are comprehensive and he offers multiple ways of approaching a problem. Yet, he's still succinct and I never get sidetracked when he helps me understand a problem. Will is also very approachable, so you'll never feel bad about asking "too many" questions or for a further explanation. He's even sent me additional links to good resources or further explanations/graphics. He's truly knowledgable and you can tell that he's familiar with literally everything AAMC-related. 12/10 would recommend!
