I am a passionate educator that truly cares about the quality of your academic journey. Having worked in higher education for close to 2 decades, I can say that the highlight of my career has been helping students meet their academic goals. Whether working one-on-one or in a group, there is nothing better than seeing students have lightbulb moments right in front of you.

My academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Zoology from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I also have extensive experience in university and college teaching, postdoctoral research, and industry.

To help you meet your academic goals I will review course material with you, review journal articles and case studies with you, organize your notes into study guides, prepare practice questions, and review study and test-taking strategies. I look forward to being a part of your academic journey.

I have experience in course development and delivery for a broad range of STEM subjects and am very experienced at working with students from diverse academic backgrounds. I am adept at simplifying complex content and I am a very patient educator that will support you through every step of the learning process. I am available to tutor biology, anatomy, physiology, ecology, and zoology at every level.
