Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a passionate and patient educator with a Master’s degree in Education from Baldwin Wallace University. I’m dual licensed in Early Childhood Education (K–3) and Mild/Moderate Special Education (K–12), and I’m also certified in the Orton-Gillingham approach — a proven, multisensory method for helping students build strong reading and literacy skills.
My Teaching & Tutoring Experience
I’ve spent over 8 years teaching in both general education and special education classrooms, working with students of all learning styles and abilities. For the past 4 years, I’ve also been tutoring one-on-one, which is one of my favorite ways to teach because it allows me to truly personalize each lesson. My approach is nurturing, engaging, and hands-on — I use interactive strategies, individualized instruction, and lots of encouragement to help students grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Who I Work With
I specialize in tutoring children in grades K–3, focusing on early reading, phonics, comprehension, and foundational math skills. Whether your child needs extra support to catch up, enrichment to stay challenged, or just a confidence boost, I strive to create a positive, fun, and supportive environment where they feel safe to learn and make mistakes.
A Little About Me
When I’m not teaching or tutoring, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, exploring the outdoors with my family, or discovering new restaurants in my community. I truly love what I do, and I can’t wait to help your child grow and succeed!
