I'm Tam! I graduated from the University of Cincinnati obtaining: 1) My undergraduate in Finance & Data Analytics 2) My MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics. I have 4 years of tutoring experience in Data Analytics and have primarily worked directly with students that needed assistance.

Throughout my college career, many professors I had taught a lot of theory (from books) that was beneficial to know but unfortunately, most of that information I learned was not beneficial for me in the real world. From experiences in the classroom and the real world, what I found most helpful for me and the students that I tutored was providing real-world examples and actual experiences that I went through that could help others get ahead.

The areas that I'd like to tutor and share my experiences with are 1) Best Practices in Data Management and Business Intelligence 2) Microsoft Excel 3) Power BI 4) SQL.

Serving as a Data Lead and Product Manager in my current occupation, I lead teams towards building Business Intelligence solution that enhances end users experience and enables them to make strategic decisions. In my day-to-day, I often work with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, & SQL (usually learning something new every day) and have obtained my certification in all 3 areas as well as an additional certification in Data Management (Certified Data Management Professional).

In summary, I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible in the topics mentioned above by sharing real-world & college experiences through effective communication & offering constructive guidance to help achieve their academic / career endeavors.
