Natalie Sweasy is a French horn performer and teacher based in
Cincinnati. She currently holds positions as 2nd horn of the
Evansville Philharmonic as well as Principal horn of the Kentucky
Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, Natalie has been a winner of
the Sewanee Summer Music Festival Jacqueline Avent Concerto

Natalie Sweasy is a French horn performer and teacher based in
Cincinnati. She currently holds positions as 2nd horn of the
Evansville Philharmonic as well as Principal horn of the Kentucky
Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, Natalie has been a winner of
the Sewanee Summer Music Festival Jacqueline Avent Concerto
Competition in 2019 and recently received first place in the
University Division of the International Horn Competition of
America 2024.
Natalie also maintains a private lessons studio and teaches brass
lessons at MYCincinnati. She teaches private lessons and leads
sectionals at several high schools in the Cincinnati area.
In addition to performing and teaching, Natalie is pursuing her
M.M. in French horn performance at University of Cincinnati CCM,
where she studies with Dr. Margaret Tung. Previously, she
studied with Randy Gardner, Denise Tryon, and Elizabeth
Freimuth at CCM and Nadia Côté at McGill University.
