Hello! My name is Kayla and I am a current geochemistry PhD student at Cornell University. My current research is primarily based in aqueous chemistry and isotope geochemistry. I graduated from the College of Coastal Georgia Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in environmental science with concentrations in natural and marine sciences. I also obtained a minor in geology.

In my undergraduate years I served as a tutor (one-on-one instruction) and supplemental instructor (large group settings with preplanned lessons) through the College of Coastal Georgia with 100+ hours of active tutoring experience. My undergraduate college was a small public university that served a large community of minority and non-traditional students; giving me the opportunity to work a large group of diverse individuals. At my university I primarily was a supplemental instructor for chemistry courses but I tutored a vast array of subjects from ranging from maths to sciences to economics.
