Biology is the study of life. There are so many aspects of biology such as general biology, genetics, molecular biology, immunology, microbiology, cell physiology, and many more. All these concentrations study a specific part of biology such as function, structure, growth, and mechanisms. In order to understand biology, you have to learn certain main things. What makes up an organism such as cells, DNA, RNA, proteins, phospholipids, and their genetic makeup. How the organism sustains its life through its ability to obtain energy by consuming another organism or using directly sunlight through photosynthesis. These are the general understandings of biology.

Study Skills

Study Skills

I have a bachelor's degree in biology. In order to obtain the degree, I had to develop strong study skills. I have worked with groups of students as well to help them develop these skills in order to improve their grade. Study skills is a habit that takes some time to develop. It requires the ability to take information and organize them in a way you can understand them. Some people learn best visually so pictures, charts, and graphs would help. Some people learn best by listening so recording lectures and going to class is a vital part of the learning process. In order to develop good study skills, you have to set a schedule of studying and take the extra time to develop flash cards, study guides, and anything else that will help you understand the material better. I have learned in order to do well in a class, there are several things that you need to do. Before class, you need to prepare before you go to class such as reading the book ahead of time. During class, listening carefully to the teacher and take notes diligently. After class, review the material and the notes you have taken. After all this, if there is material you don't understand, ask the teacher or peer to explain it to you. It is important to be consistent with your studying.

Great tutor

Jennifer is easy to contact and she responds promptly. My girl feels comfortable with Jennifer and she has been a big help with math, science and all of her subjects. If we have a 90 minute session and it ends up only lasting 80 minutes then she only charges for 80 minutes. I would highly recommend Jennifer.
