I’m currently completing my degree in mathematics and preparing for my first actuarial exam (Exam P). I’ve spent the last few years immersed in topics like algebra, calculus, and probability, and along the way, I discovered how much I love helping others understand math. I believe anyone can succeed in math with the right support, clear explanations, and a patient, encouraging tutor.
I’ve been tutoring for several years, working with students ranging from middle schoolers to college students and adult learners. I’ve tutored one-on-one through platforms like Varsity Tutors, where many of my students return week after week and have referred others to me. My students often describe me as approachable, easy to understand, and someone who makes math feel less intimidating. I especially enjoy helping students build their confidence—whether they’re tackling Algebra 2, Precalculus, or exam prep.
My approach is always tailored to the individual student. I create a calm, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I know what it’s like to struggle with a concept or feel overwhelmed by a course, and I aim to meet each student where they are, helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.
