Hi! I'm Daniel, a fourth-year medical student at Rutgers RWJMS with a passion for teaching and mentoring. Having navigated the challenges of both the MCAT and USMLE preparation myself, I understand the dedication and strategy it takes to succeed at every stage of medical education. Whether you're preparing for the MCAT, studying for the USMLE, or applying to medical school or residency, I’d love to help you achieve your goals through focused and personalized guidance.

During my journey, I passed Step 1 in the Pass/Fail era and scored a 264 on Step 2, all through self-directed study. I’ve tutored students through Varsity Tutors and supported countless peers with their USMLE preparation, medical school applications, and personal statements. These experiences have honed my ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and needs, making me confident in helping you tackle any challenge.

My approach to mastering exams like the MCAT and USMLE is twofold: learn the material and understand the test. To build a strong foundation, I emphasize a data-driven combination of practice questions and spaced repetition—proven methods for maximizing retention and application. However, success is about more than just content knowledge; it’s about learning how to think like the test-maker. By thoroughly reviewing your practice tests, I can help you refine your test-taking strategies, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence to achieve the scores you need.

In addition to test preparation, I also specialize in medical school and residency application support, including editing personal statements and secondary essays. Whether you need help with essays, interview prep, or overall application strategy, I’m here to make the process easier and more effective.

Looking forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals!
