Hi, my name is Allie! I am a Ph.D. student at NYU studying computational/theoretical chemistry. I love to teach general and organic chemistry, math, and physics!

I have over 3 years of experience as a tutor. At Ramapo College, I tutored organic chemistry and general chemistry as part of the school's STEM tutoring program. I also volunteered as a teaching assistant (TA) for 3 semesters in organic chemistry, general chemistry, and analytical chemistry. I work best with university-level students, although in some cases I am open to working with high school students--just ask!

Of course, I have a deep appreciation for chemistry and physics, and tutoring allows me to share that appreciation and offer my skills to the next generation of students. I love being able to tap into my students' "inner genius" and equip them with the critical thinking skills needed for all areas of science. I much prefer to guide my students towards learning chemistry by using their own intuition rather than relying on memorization or tricks.
