Dear Parents and Students,
I am a New Hampshire certified teacher in the areas of Elementary (K-8) and General Special Education. I have worked at both the high school and middle school levels. My job and goal as an educator is to open doors to students and allow them to understand and excel in school.
Before returning to school and becoming an educator, I spent nearly 15 years in the restaurant business. I began as a team member and worked my way up to a general manager. I use this experience every day in my teaching career because there are some similar attributes needed to be successful in both fields. I needed to educate and train my team, multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner, and balance nearly 25 employees work ethics and ability levels.
Going back to school and going into education was the best decision I made. I have a passion for teaching and take take that enthusiasm into the classroom with me daily. I use a multitude of approaches to engage students and get them to be successful. Each student is different, so I learn what approaches work well with each student and tailor instruction around each type of learner.
