I am an upcoming college graduate at Duke University majoring in English. I self-studied entirely for the LSAT for three months and scored a 174. I would not have had such success on this test, however, if not for the people who encouraged me to keep going when I doubted my ability to continue. Studying for the LSAT is an ultra-marathon requiring a draining amount of time and energy -- and I'm here to make your process more manageable. I take a tutoring approach that mirrors Khan Academy, but with more in-depth answers and a wider variety of material.

My logic games method is a combination of practice and set-up strategy that prioritizes timing and accuracy. For logical reasoning, I'll walk you through the different types of questions and break-down of all. My specialty is reading comprehension, and I will help you understand the bigger picture of the passage without missing smaller details. I am best at tutoring people midway through the studying process in need of an extra boost, although I will work with anyone who requests help.

I have half a year of tutoring experience in one-on-one English and Spanish Literacy for adults and elementary school students in both a classroom and informal setting. I also have two years in personalized swim instruction. I take a chunk approach to mastering language, beginning with more simple concepts and working towards complex application of these skills.
