I am a senior honors student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics with minors in Business Administration and Environmental Engineering. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA through rigorous coursework including Real Analysis, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Discrete Math, Number Theory, and Numerical Analysis. I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and am part of Honors Carolina, UNC’s selective academic program for the top 10% of students.
I have provided one-on-one tutoring in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and SAT Math to middle school, high school, and college students in both volunteer and paid roles. I’ve supported students in person and over Zoom, helping break down complex problems using visual aids, practice questions, and real-world examples to build deep conceptual understanding. I also regularly assist classmates and peers in college-level courses, and served as a Calculus III tutor at UNC.
What makes my tutoring effective is my focus on clarity, patience, and adaptability. As someone with experience working with kids as a summer camp counselor, I know how important it is to tailor lessons to different learning styles. Whether a student is looking to boost their test scores or build lasting confidence in math, I work to make difficult concepts digestible and engaging. I love tutoring because it allows me to share my passion for mathematics while helping others succeed.
