Invaluable AP English Language course prep
Kristen did a marvelous job preparing my son over the last 4 weeks before his English Language AP. His class work grades jumped significantly and hopefully this will be mirrored by a similar effect on his AP results. She was clearly very knowledgeable about the AP English Lang course content and knew exactly which areas to focus on. Given we live on the other side of the country he worked with Kristin online which proved to be an ideal medium since the lesson could be split between online discussion and offline writing time. The online system was easy to use and didn't prove to be any barrier to effective communication. Kristin was very flexible about squeezing in lessons into a tight & busy schedule and unfailingly prompt to respond.

Kristin knows her business and is punctual. Even my son, who hardly utters a word about anything to do with academics (as I am sure many boys do!), was impressed and after 3 sessions he said, "Mom, I got better by literally doing nothing!" A warm, responsive and inspiring tutor!
My daughters are both elementary students, and were not bad at writing. I was looking for a private writing tutor in the hope that they could be inspired to write more and would have more chance to practice and improve their skills. Kristin is the right teacher that I wished to have! She is pleasantly responsive and flexible to parents, and is warm, funny and inspiring to students.
