Simply the best!
Today was the first lesson of our 3 days a week tutoring for my 5 year old and right away any nervousness of mine was put to ease from the very second the meeting began. Holly was very warm and kind to my son which made a usually shy child come out of his shell. Holly was extremely knowledgeable on how to engage him in activities to figure out his level of learning to prepare his future lessons. She made his learning fun and encouraged him every step of the way. If he got something wrong, she did not make a big deal about it (which his school teachers do) so he was self-conscious if he didn’t know the answer, but Holly assured him that it was okay and kept right on with her lesson. Her praises made him feel confident and smart, which was heartwarming for me. Holly also takes cues from the child to make sure they don’t get overwhelmed or tired on one topic, so she mixes it up when needed. I can’t wait for his lessons to evolve into her fun learning!
