I graduated from Michigan State University and I have several years of experience tutoring and working with students, including working with MSU Student-Athletes through MSU's SASS (Student-Athlete Support Services). I was originally an English major but ended up graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. I have taught: physics, physical science, pre-engineering classes, biology, AP Environmental Science, and AP Biology. I am also a certified FANUC robotics instructor.
With my experiences gained through MSU's rigorous teacher education program I have learned many techniques and approaches to help students achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential. Everyone learns differently and there is no "one size fits all" approach to learning. I work with students to help develop effective study habits and efficient time-management skills, both of which are critical to success in any academic discipline. I hope to hear from you soon!
