As a current medical student at MSU College of Human Medicine, I bring a deep understanding of scientific foundations, combined with a unique ability to connect with students through personalized and empathetic instruction. I hold a Bachelor's in Biology from Bennington College and have completed comprehensive coursework in all MCAT-relevant subjects, including Biochemistry, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, General Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy & Physiology.
My formal tutoring experience began at Schoolcraft College, where I was selected to serve as a Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Leader in Microbiology. In this role, I facilitated 1-on-1 and group study sessions and led lab-based discussions. My approach focused not just on mastering content, but also on coaching students through effective study strategies, time management, and test-taking skills. I also have experience designing and delivering educational presentations in both academic and community settings.
In addition to academic tutoring, I’ve led training programs in professional settings, taught interns and staff as a Lead Molecular Technologist, and served as a Group Fitness Coach. Across all these roles, my students and clients consistently highlight my approachability, clarity, and ability to adapt complex concepts to different learning styles.
I’ve worked with a diverse range of learners—from traditional undergraduate students to adult learners balancing education with other responsibilities—and have a deep appreciation for the different paths people take into medicine. My teaching is rooted in empathy, clarity, and encouragement. Whether you're struggling with content review, critical thinking, or test anxiety, I tailor each session to support your individual strengths and challenges.
With a strong foundation in the sciences and a passion for mentorship, I’m confident in my ability to help students not only prepare for the MCAT but thrive through the process. I look forward to helping you build both the knowledge and the confidence to succeed.
