I have tutored elementary, high school, and collegiate students since 2015, in Prealgebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and differential equations. During 2015-2017, I was employed by my undergraduate college as a tutor to teach remedial Algebra I-II and Calculus I to students. Concurrently, I had a personal tutoring business where I tutored middle and high school students during the undergraduate college year. In the summers between school semesters, I taught the math section of the Scholarship Lady’s USA Summer SAT bootcamp.

I attended Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University (AAMU) and graduated in 2019 Magna Cum Laude with a B.S Mechanical Engineering. I was an academic full-ride scholarship recipient while at AAMU. My awards included Dean’s Scholar, Student Ambassador for College of Engineering (STEM Star Scholars), AAMU National Society of Black Engineers Pre-Collegiate Initiative Chair (NSBE PCI), and Career Development Services (CDS) volunteer, NASA Space Grant Scholar, Black Engineer of the Year Awards Student Leader, and Forbes 30 Under 30 Scholars. In May 2025, I’ll be graduating with my Masters’ in Aerospace Engineering from University of Alabama Huntsville. In addition, I have completed some graduate Physics classes under the AAMU Physics department, a top ranked graduate producer for Black physicists in the State of Alabama.

My teaching method includes heavy usage of analogies, to explain difficult abstract math concepts into understandable chunks to students. Patience is essential to ensure every student understands the material. I have thoroughly enjoyed transforming students from failing into excelling at mathematics.
Professionally, I have six years of experience as an Aerospace engineer, the last four serving at John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.

Mechanical Engineering

I am a 2019 Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering graduate from Alabama A&M University, and a 2025 Masters of Aerospace Engineering graduate from the University of Alabama Huntsville. During my undergraduate journey, I tutored several students in undergraduate physics, mathematics, differential equations, thermodynamics, and various other Mechanical Engineering subjects. Upon graduation, I worked as a hardware design engineer on UH-60 Blackhawks for a year; afterwards, I supported the defensive analysis of Blackhawks for another year. The last four years, I have served as a test and evaluation engineer at John Hopkins University where I perform analyses of various weapon systems.
