I am a former special education teacher and administrator in elementary and middle schools. My passion is helping children and adults with special needs, those who are significantly behind academically and people who need extra motivation and creativity to grow academically.

I specialize in remediation of ELA (phonics, grammar, spelling, writing, fluency, comprehension) and handwriting.

I specifically work with the Wilson Reading System (a program based in Orton Gillingham principles), Read Naturally, Handwriting without Tears and Size Matters Handwriting.

I am also certified to conduct academic testing using the Woodcock Johnson IV and the Young Children’s Achievement Test 2. These assessments help determine current academic levels in reading, writing and math, so I can tutor more effectively.

The joy of watching a previously struggling adult or child succeed is why I love tutoring. Contact me to talk more about how I can help you or your loved one meet their learning goals!

Knowledgable & Patient

Tiffany worked with my daughter to determine her reading level and how best to support her. Based on her assessment, we now have a game plan. She was definitely patient with my active 7 year old who had just been released from school. We'll definitely be working with Tiffany again.
