Hello! I hold a BA in Economics with a concentration in Applied Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a minor in Mathematics. I later completed my MS in Economics and Data Analysis at New York University, where I also pursued advanced coursework in econometrics, game theory, and policy modeling at the doctoral level. Additionally, I earned a postgraduate diploma in Applied Statistics and Research Methods from Columbia University.
My passion for tutoring began during my early college years and has grown into a meaningful career. Helping students gain clarity and confidence in complex subjects is what I find most fulfilling. I strive to make abstract concepts more tangible by combining clear explanations with guided practice, and I always tailor my approach to fit the student's unique learning style.
With over seven years of tutoring experience, I specialize in economics, statistics, and econometrics. Thanks to my strong quantitative foundation, I also assist students in college and high school math, including calculus, probability, and linear algebra.
I started tutoring while at Berkeley, supporting peers in quantitative courses through the university’s academic support center. Since 2017, I’ve been tutoring independently, working with students on topics like intermediate microeconomics, macroeconomics, data analysis, and applied econometrics. I also served as a teaching assistant for two years at NYU, where I led discussion sections and office hours for courses such as Introductory Economics, Development Economics, and Graduate Econometrics. My work was recognized with a departmental teaching award in both 2019 and 2020.
My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment that helps you achieve your academic goals. I’m happy to adapt to your pace and preferences—please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or to schedule a session.
