Hello! My name is Leonardo and I'm a graduate student in music and teacher at Boston University. I currently teach aural skills, sight singing, and music theory at the university, and have over 5 years of experience teaching piano. Teaching music is my passion, and once I complete my masters degree I plan to look for work within the Boston public school system.

I've been composing music since I was 12 years old in a variety of genres and styles, including classical, jazz, pop, hip-hop, singer-songwriter, electronic, and folk. In college, I studied the work of famous composers while analyzing their music in my theory classes. In the past 10 years I have released more than 100 songs/pieces, which can be accessed using any streaming service. I excelled in all my composition courses in school and ended with a 3.9 GPA. Since college, I've tutored 5 different students in composition, ranging from middle school to college aged.

Fantastic music tutor

Aural skills has been a very challenging course for met as a freshman in college. Leonardo helped me get through my assignment methodically and with a lot of patience. He was fully prepared and extremely knowledgable. He quickly recognized my strengths and helped me improve my weaknesses. He is a great music tutor and I will be working with him regularly.
