Currently, I am a Senior Business Consultant at Humana (3 years). Prior to this, I was at LG&E as an Economist in the Forecasting Department (10 years). In addition, I am an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Bellarmine University (5 years).

I have been tutoring for many years, during and after graduate school. I enjoy teaching and mentoring others and helping to make a difference in their lives.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Elementary Math

I am well-versed in all levels of math, Algebra I and II, which are prerequisites for Calculus, a subject that I am also qualified to teach/tutor. Also, these are required for a Doctorate in Economics, which I do possess.

Linear Algebra

I have a PhD in Economics with a focus on econometrics, which is based on linear algebra. I have spent many years working with data and applying the techniques required in linear algebra.

Microsoft Excel

I have a Doctorate in Economics and am an Adjunct Faculty member at Bellarmine University in the Department of Economics

SAS

I have been programming in SAS for over 25 years doing both data manipulation and modeling and forecasting. I have a PhD in Economics and for my dissertation (and subsequent publications) I used SAS to estimate the parameters of NonLinear Models.

Statistics

I am well-versed in Algebra I and II, which are prerequisites for Calculus, a subject that I am also qualified to teach/tutor. Also, these are required for a Doctorate in Economics, which I do possess. Statistics is a requirement for Econometrics, which I am also qualified to teach/tutor.
