Hi! I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Louisville, majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-med track. Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and I love helping others understand it too. I focus on tutoring elementary and middle school math, as well as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Precalculus—so whether your child is learning basic math facts or getting ready for high school-level work, I’m here to help.
I started tutoring when I was in high school, helping other students with math homework and test prep, and also being a tutor in math classrooms. I’ve also worked with younger kids, helping them build strong math skills in a way that’s fun and encouraging. These experiences taught me how to explain things clearly and in different ways, depending on what each student needs.
When I tutor, I focus on patience, building confidence, and making sure students really understand the “why” behind the math, something that has helped me while learning. I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where it’s okay to ask questions and make mistakes—that’s how we learn! My goal is to help students feel more confident and independent, so they can succeed not just in math class, but in anything they set their minds to.
