Hi! I'm Carson, a Mechanical Engineering major at Purdue Fort Wayne. I graduated high school with Academic Honors, Technical Honors, and Indiana College Core (ICC) certification. I earned over 50 college credit hours before graduating, and passed multiple AP exams including AP Physics, AP Government, AP U.S. History, AP Psychology, and AP Literature, earning the AP Scholar Award for academic excellence.
Teaching is one of my greatest passions. Throughout high school, I led study groups and tutoring sessions, helping classmates overcome academic challenges. I’ve tutored students from 4th to 12th grade, both one-on-one and in group settings, and I served as a Sunday school teacher for two years, which deepened my love for working with younger learners.
My teaching approach focuses on identifying and strengthening key areas of misunderstanding. I create custom study plans, practice tests, and targeted review materials based on each student’s class content and notes to prepare them for quizzes, exams, and tests. As someone with ADHD, I understand the unique challenges it presents and use strategies that help students stay focused, organized, and confident—especially those with similar learning needs.
I’m approachable, responsive, and always open to feedback from students and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes. I strive to be available as much as possible and am committed to helping students succeed.
