Hi! My name is Madhav. I can't wait to help you learn and master computer science and math subjects. Throughout my life I've helped friends and coworkers on academic problems. It's not something I consider a job, and is just something that's naturally a part of my life.

I graduated from Caltech with a degree in Computer Science with Honors (3.8 GPA). After graduating, I started working at Oracle as a software engineer. After building Oracle's Cloud Services for 3 years, I joined BallerTV, a sports streaming startup. There, I did both front end and back end projects.

I would love to support you in learning and doing projects in many computer languages: Java, Python, C, and C++. Apart from languages and software engineering, I especially enjoy teaching theoretical computer science subjects like algorithms, decidability, and machine learning.

From 2020-21 I tutored a UC Davis undergraduate in several computer science courses: algorithms, C, and machine learning. I teach by asking students questions and pointing them in the right directions so that they solve problems using their own thinking.

I am open to teaching students of all ages. I am open to virtual sessions as well as in person sessions around the bay area.

I have 4 years of experience working as a software engineer. I built Oracle's cloud services in Java. Then I built software tools that supported BallerTV's business.

I also studied many Computer Science subjects at Caltech: algorithms, machine learning, C, Java, Python, Computer Systems and more!
