Learning Java and Linux

My lessons with Brian are focused on Computer Information Systems, where I’m gaining firsthand experience with Java and Linux. As someone new to the computer world without much prior background, I can confidently say that even after just two lessons, I already feel more comfortable with Brian’s guidance. He has a great ability to break down complex concepts into understandable terms, and his patience stands out - even when I ask the same question multiple times, he takes the time to review it again until I fully understand. I know I still have a lot to learn, but Brian’s teaching style gives me confidence that I’m in good hands as I continue to grow in this field.

Awesome Tudor!

Brian has really helped me! I’m a beginner in a 6 mo bootcamp at Nashville Software School in a Software Development program. It is an accelerated learning program and team based. I need someone to walk me through the work at the end of most days and Brian has been very patient and is extremely knowledgeable. I’ve needed someone to fill in the gaps of my understanding of the material and help me with foundational concepts as well. I think he’s explained what a function is 12 times to me and doesn’t seem to mind that my learning style is based on my under grad and graduate work in business admin and humanities.. I’m a very abstract and deep thinker so coding has not come easy for me. I would have quit by now but I feel way more confident after each tutoring session! He is flexible with scheduling, affordable, reliable and timely.
