Hi! I’m George, and I graduated cum laude with a JD from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2026. Before that, I scored a 177 on the LSAT. As a result, I know what it takes to succeed in law school, ace exams, work efficiently, and perform under pressure. Additionally, as a former federal judicial intern, executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, and now, an incoming big law associate, I also know what it takes to navigate deadlines, manage a range of responsibilities, and make the most of new opportunities.

I tutor all first-year law school classes, including contracts, civil procedure, torts, property, constitutional law, criminal law, and legal writing, as well as elective courses including business associations, secured transactions, privacy law, intellectual property, and antitrust law. Whether you’re having trouble with once concept or the entire course, I’m here to help. I also am happy to guide students beyond the classroom as they navigate the ever-changing, all-important job search process, including interview preparation and general career development.

I’m not new to tutoring. Having worked as a private LSAT tutor before law school, I’ve taught numerous students effective test-taking strategies, including how best to manage time and approach different questions. From this experience, I know that everyone learns differently. That’s why I tailor my lessons to the unique needs of each student by developing individualized lesson plans. Together, we’ll craft a customized study plan that fits with your schedule as well as your specific strengths and weaknesses. During sessions, we’ll work through common fact patterns, learn general test-taking strategies, and practice frequently tested areas to minimize any surprises on test day.

Career Development

I hold a JD from Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law (2026, cum laude) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in German Business, also from Northwestern. My professional background spans legal practice, publishing, and client-facing roles, giving me firsthand experience navigating career transitions, promotions, and job searches across different industries. I have direct experience mentoring and coaching others on career development. While working at an immigration law firm, I mentored new hires as they onboarded and grew into their roles, helping them understand what was expected of them and how to advance. I also worked as an LSAT tutor, which required me to break down complex material and build individualized study and prep strategies for each student. Separately, I've reviewed resumes and conducted mock interviews for friends and colleagues preparing for job searches, helping them refine their materials and practice articulating their experience under real interview conditions. My approach to career coaching starts with understanding a client's goals as well as the gap between where they are and where they want to be. From there, I help them build or refine their resume and cover letter for a specific role or industry, prepare for interviews through mock sessions and structured feedback on their answers, and think through how to position their experience, whether they're aiming for a promotion, career pivot, or their first job in a new field. I draw on my own experience of navigating multiple career transitions, along with my background in mentoring and tutoring others, to give practical, specific guidance rather than generic advice.

I hold a JD from Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law (2026, cum laude) and have personally navigated a wide range of interview formats and styles, spanning a federal judicial internship and Executive Editor selection for the Northwestern University Law Review, to interviews at an immigration law firm where I was promoted from legal writer to team leader and manager, to the recruiting process for my current incoming associate position at a large law firm. These experiences included formal panel interviews, informal conversational interviews, as well as virtual and in-person formats, with each requiring a different style of preparation. I have direct experience coaching others through interview preparation. I've conducted mock interviews with friends preparing for job searches, working through their answers to behavioral and situational questions and giving them real-time feedback on delivery, pacing, and content. I also previously worked as an LSAT tutor, which required me to build individualized preparation strategies and adjust my teaching approach to each student's specific weaknesses. The skills I've learned along the way translate directly to tailoring interview coaching to an individual's needs. My approach to interview prep starts with identifying the specific role and interview format a client is preparing for, since a panel interview, problem-based interview, and casual culture-fit conversation each call for different preparation. From there, I help clients structure clear, concise answers to behavioral questions using frameworks like STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result), run mock interviews with real-time feedback on both content and delivery, and prepare strategies for handling unexpected or difficult questions. I draw on my own experience across a wide range of interview formats and stakes, combined with my background in coaching others, to help clients walk into an interview prepared and confident.

I graduated cum laude with a JD degree from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2026. As a law student, I received top grades in a range of classes, including first-year as well as upper-level elective courses. During law school, I also worked as an executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review as well as a federal judicial intern, in-house legal intern, and research assistant. As such, I know how to effectively manage time pressure, analyze fact patterns, and ace law school exams. I’m glad to share my process and help law students both succeed in the classroom and build a strong foundation for their future careers.

Legal Writing

Throughout law school, I wrote numerous legal briefs, memoranda, case summaries, and other legal documents. I’ve analyzed a wide range of complex legal issues, including securities fraud, standing in federal court, substantive due process, insider trading, fraudulent misrepresentation, and copyright infringement. As a federal judicial intern, I drafted court documents for both criminal and civil matters. As a research assistant in law school, I co-authored a white paper on AI use in courts and drafted book chapters on a number of topics in corporate law. And, as an executive editor of the Northwestern University Law Review, I conducted final edits on countless manuscripts prior to publication. These and other experiences taught me how to write effectively, clearly, and concisely. As a result, I’m confident I can help improve your legal writing.
