Aloha everyone! My name is Chie and I am a summa cum laude graduate with a B.S. in biology. I have years of extensive experience in tutoring in both the sciences and in language-immersion programs during my time in college and beyond. I am also a first year medical student and am happy to tutor and provide guidance to pre-medical students.

Aloha everyone! My name is Chie and I am a summa cum laude graduate with a B.S. in biology. I have years of extensive experience in tutoring in both the sciences and in language-immersion programs during my time in college and beyond. I am also a first year medical student and am happy to tutor and provide guidance to pre-medical students.

The subjects that I have tutored and taught in the past include:
Organic chemistry, chemistry, physics, sociology, psychology, biology (including but not limited to areas of cellular molecular biology, genetics, immunology, etc.), and biochemistry.

For more than 2 years, I have worked with a variety of different age groups ranging from high schoolers to college students. I am also currently a pre-medical student who plans to attend medical school. In the meantime, I sincerely enjoy tutoring students and I have an incredible passion to help you succeed in your courses! As a past teacher instructor and as a current online tutor, my approach is to provide a fun, patient, supportive, and engaging learning environment for any student that I work with! I am always open to questions and welcome new ways that I can best help each individualized student with their own learning styles! During college and beyond, I also took part in kidney and botany research and presented at the ISMRM conference in Montreal.

Though I am a biology major, I definitely love chemistry and I enjoy teaching it to students while making our lessons fun!

As an MCAT tutor, I have heavily studied different approaches to studying for the MCAT along with specific MCAT test strategies for the past 2 years. I have studied through multiple test companies (including Kaplan, Blueprint, and Altius). I have helped fellow premeds prepare for their MCAT exams to feel more confident and prepared along with the CASPer exam (obtaining the 4th quartile).

I believe succeeding in OCHEM is definitely possible for anyone, especially with the skills and tips that I will equip students with!
